The 38-year-old singer cut a casual figure as she embraced her acquaintance while stepping out of her car before she made her way into the hotel’s main lobby.
The performer, who is mulling over the potential end of her days as an American Idol judge, opted for a light gray crewneck sweater that was paired with a pair of cropped sweat pants.
Perry carried a zip-up hoodie with her during her arrival, and she added a bit of extra color to her look with a pair of light brown open-toed sandals. The performer accessorized with a pair of rose-tinted sunglasses and kept much of her gorgeous dark brunette hair tied up and underneath an orange cap.
The Hot N Cold singer’s outing took place just over a week after she completed the eighth leg of her ongoing Play concert residency. She previously kicked off her run of shows, which is being held at the The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas, in December of 2021.
Perry’s residency was originally planned to last until January of 2022, although it was extended until March of that year. The run of shows has since had several legs added to its schedule throughout its run.
The most recent leg of the hitmaker’s residency began on May 12 and concluded on the 28th. Perry spoke about Play during an interview with Rolling Stone, where she discussed her fondness for fan interaction.
‘I really love to just treat everybody like family and be in this heightened experience together, but also break that fourth wall and invite everyone in,’ she said. The songwriter then stated that she felt as if she could connect with every audience member during her performances.
‘Everything’s pretty close, and everyone feels like they have the best seat in the house because they can literally smell me. I love that about this experience,’ she said.
Perry went on to express that she looked over every detail of her show before her first concert occurred.
‘I really believe in a lot of preparation with everything I do. I believe preparation makes precision. You only get one opportunity to kick off your Las Vegas residency in life,’ she said. Play’s final installment is currently scheduled to take place on November 4.
