From improvising their smooches to carrying on their kissing scenes even after the director yells “Cut!”, here are instances when actors got swept up in the moment while filming intimate scenes.

‘Bridgerton’ stars, Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton, found themselves lost in the moment while shooting a steamy intimate scene in a horse carriage. The actors revealed that their kissing scene felt unusually long, prompting Nicola to say her line, “Colin, we’re at your house!” That was when their director Andrew Ahn walked up to the carriage to ask them what they were doing. Much to their surprise, the director had shouted ‘cut’ a while back. In their defence, the actors claimed that they couldn’t hear anything while inside the carriage.

During the shoot of the song ‘Ang Laga De’ from the movie ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Deepika Padukone revealed that she and Ranveer Singh became so involved in their kiss that they missed their cue. The smooch was supposed to end with a brick thrown at Leela’s window, but the actors were too engrossed in the moment to notice. Deepika later humorously recalled, “We didn’t hear what happened; we were into each other only.”

​During Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s highly publicised court case, the actress revealed that she and her ‘The Rum Diary’ co-star Depp got carried away during their kiss. Despite being in relationships, their on-screen kiss felt incredibly “real” as the actor “used his tongue,” she said. Heard testified that the romantic shower scene ‘blurred professional boundaries’, with Depp grabbing her face and pulling her into a passionate kiss.

While filming ‘Azhar’, Nargis Fakhri and Emraan Hashmi shot a song sequence that also had the two sharing a couple of kisses. A viral BTS clip became the talk of the town when Nargis ended the kissing scene by humorously prolonging the moment even after the director yelled “Cut!” While Nargis laughed it off, Emraan was left momentarily speechless, leaving the crew laughing out loud at their antics.

​Things reportedly got steamy between Kartik Aaryan and Mishti Mukherjee, who were paired up in Subhash Ghai’s ‘Kaanchi’, displayed undeniable chemistry both on and off the camera.
