BBC line-up for World Cup final revealed as host makes history and Man Utd legend features
THE BBC have unveiled their punditry line-up for the World Cup final.
The broadcaster has been finalising its plans for this summer’s tournament, which kicks off on Thursday night.

6And it’s now been revealed that Micah Richards and Wayne Rooney will both work the final on July 19.
The BBC are still deciding on a third and final pundit, which will depend on which teams reach the final.
Gabby Logan will present coverage of the showpiece, which will be held at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
It will be the first time a woman has hosted a men’s final on the BBC.

Logan hosted the Women’s World Cup final between England and Spain for the Beeb in 2023.
Previously David Coleman, Des Lynam and Gary Lineker have been anchors for BBC’s coverage of World Cups in the 1960s.
The BBC has also revealed the full line-up for its opening game between Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It will feature Richards, Rooney and ex-Arsenal man Olivier Giroud, with Logan anchoring the coverage.

Logan will be joined by Mark Chapman, Kelly Cates and Alex Scott in presenting coverage of games.
There will be no shortage of pundits on offer across the 104 matches.
Alongside Richards, Rooney and Giroud, fans will also hear from ex-England stars Joe Hart, Alan Shearer, Paul Robinson, Danny Murphy, Steph Hughton and Ellen White.
There will also be representatives from ex-World Cup star Gael Clichy, Cesar Azpilicueta and Benni McCarthy.
Ex-Wales defender Ashley Williams will also be present alongside Scotland stars Rachel Corsie, Scott Brown and James McFadden.
Former Tottenham boss Thomas Frank will complete their team along with ex-referee Darren Dann for expert refereeing insight.
Commentators will include Guy Mowbray, Steve Wilson, Steve Bower and Jonathan Pearce alongside the likes of Martin Keown, Stephen Warnock, Shearer, Murphy and Sue Smith.
